Services

Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of preventive health care. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms. As a result, individuals are often unaware that problems exist. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems are important for maintaining good vision and eye health, and when possible, preventing vision loss. A comprehensive adult eye and vision examination may include, but is not limited to, the following tests. Individual patient signs and symptoms, along with the professional judgment of the doctor, may significantly influence the testing done. Beyond exams, Affinity offers a variety of products and services.

Comprehensive Eye Exam

Our comprehensive eye exam consists of a wide range of tests in order to examine your eye health. These tests will include simple ones, like reading an eye chart, to more complex ones. The goal of this exam is to fully evaluate your general eye health and provide a prescription for glasses or contacts if needed. We recommend annual eye exams for everyone, even if vision seems fine, to ensure eye health and preventative care are optimized.

Specialty Fit Contact Lens Fitting Exams
There are many reasons a patient may have difficulties wearing normal contact lenses, but specialty fit contact lenses make wearing contacts possible for these patients. If you’ve ever been told you can’t wear normal contact lenses, a specialty fit contact lens exam may help you gain a newfound freedom with contacts. Additionally, patients with corneal irregularities due to trauma or diseases like Keratoconus might require specialty GP lenses or sclerals for best possible vision.
Red, Pink, or Sore Eyes
Our expert eye care doctors have all the tools necessary to treat Red, Pink, or Sore eye conditions. There are many causes for these types of problems, and it’s important to visit us immediately if you experience any of these conditions.
Management of Ocular Diseases
When it comes to ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Cataracts, and Macular Degeneration, early detection is key to better outcomes. At Affinity Eye Care, we use the latest technologies to diagnose and manage these diseases with great precision.
Corneal Mapping
The Cornea, which is the front window of the eye, is responsible for around 70% of the eye’s focusing power. Using our state-of-the-art technology, we have the ability to create a three-dimensional map of the surface curvature of your cornea. This helps detect irregular conditions , such as Keratoconus, invisible to most conventional testing.

We believe that your vision should never inhibit your everyday life, and that’s why we offer eye care services to fit your lifestyle needs. During a specialized vision exam, we will ask focused questions about your particular needs, whether that is sports related, safety needs, work requirements, and more.
