About Contact Lenses
Contact lenses are great for nearly anyone with vision correction needs that doesn’t want to wear eyeglasses. The beauty of contact lenses is the convenience and comfort of having perfect vision, while not having to wear glasses everyday. Contact lenses are offered in a wide range of contact lens materials, wearing time in order to match your needs.

Basic Care For Soft Contact Lenses
When caring for your contact lenses, always begin by washing your hands to minimize germs and dirt getting in your eyes. Then, using a few drops of solution in your palm, gently rub the lens against your palm with your pointer finger using a back-and-forth motion. After this, place your lens in a clean lens case to soak in fresh solution. It’s important to clean your lens case and refill with fresh solution during every clean to minimize bacteria and germs from building up.
With the wide range of contact lens care products available, it can be daunting to figure out how to best care for your contact lenses. The first and most important thing to know is that some contact lens care products are not compatible with certain types of contact lenses, and it is important to not switch care regimens without consulting your eye doctor.
Specialty Fit Contact Lenses
If you’ve ever been told you can’t wear contacts, you may have “hard to fit” eyes. This is not a bad thing at all, and is more common than you think. It can also be fixed easily by scheduling an appointment with our office for a specialty contact lens fitting exam. Some conditions that may make a patient have hard to fit eyes include keratoconus, high amounts of astigmatism, dry eyes, and post-refractive surgery just to name a few. If you think specialty fit contact lenses may be right for you, call our office and we will work to see if specialty contact lenses may be right for you.
